Registering for the blog has nothing to do with your receiving it as an email as described on the Subscribe to Blog page. It has to do with being able to post a comment when you are viewing the blog online. You have to register in order to be able to do that. You will get an email with a password, automatically generated by the blogging software. Then you can log in and post a comment. You give yourself a username and password when you register, and use that to log in to make a comment on a post. and I still need to approve the comment so it won’t immediately show up. That is so that spammers can’t comment.
